5 non-race challenges await participants all around the lake
Let's go for a new edition of the relay race around Lake Geneva: Run Mate by Core-Lean. The 200 expected teams will meet this year in Montreux to race for two days around the largest freshwater lake in Europe in an anti-clockwise direction. The teams made up of 2 to 9 Mates will set off on Saturday September 24 from Montreux in staggered starts. The runners will take turns over more than 200 km marked around the lake, taking different types of terrain (paths, trails, sidewalks, etc.) until reaching the starting town again. The race takes place over two days and one night, allowing participants to enjoy a breathtaking sunset and sunrise. Arrivals will be on Sunday September 25 in the morning and until early afternoon.
ONE TEAM, ONE STORY
The green team:
Flora and Romain took on the crazy challenge of going around the lake in pairs, in relays using the strength of their legs alone. Indeed, the team called “Bike and Run” will not sleep and while Flora runs, Romain will pedal and so on for 220km.
The Koh Lanta adventure team:
The event has the honor of welcoming a team of adventurers from the show Koh Lanta. The “Koh-Lanta Team!” is notably composed of Friborg Colin Mottas , but also other French adventurers such as Marie Oheix , Louana Roy and Alexandre Tournaud .
The supportive team:
As in 2021, the “Magic Team EHC” team, represented by employees of the Ensemble Hospitalier de la Côte, is running to raise funds for the Swiss cystic fibrosis association. Coming in force, not one, not two, not three, but four EHC teams will be present this year.
Many teams are still to be discovered and the organization invites you to follow the adventures of the teams directly in Montreux on September 24 and 25 and via our social networks.
For latecomers who still wish to participate, online registrations are open until Sunday September 18 at 11:59 p.m.
