According to the World Stroke Organization (WSO), there are 13.7 million strokes each year, of which 5.5 million are fatal. Overall, one in four people over the age of 25 will suffer a stroke during their lifetime. For these people, the right equipment and proper training can mean the difference between life or death.

The Foundation enabled the creation of a partnership between HUG and the Lima Hospital in Peru (Dirk Müller's second homeland). By supporting the Foundation, you will sponsor the arrival of a Peruvian Doctor at HUG for one year starting in 2023.

During his training, the Doctor will be trained in a new stroke treatment technique, currently inaccessible in Peru. In addition, your contribution will help the Hospital purchase the equipment necessary for this latest generation technique.
